Light toasty malt aroma. Cleat copper color. Earthy malt flavor sweetness approaching wheat beers, though not spicy in that way. Crisp, easy drinking body, nice and refreshing. Above average marzen beer, even amongst Bavarian examples.

Appearance great. I pour it so that foum formed thick creamy layer. Color was beautiful ruby. Aroma is caramell malt as taste.

This beer is bronze with a frothy head. Smell is sweet malts. Taste follows the aroma; at first too sweet but mellows after a while. Not bad but not my thing. Too malty sweet

500ml bottle from Beerdock, Crewe. Pours chestnut brown with good cream head. Faint caramel aroma. Taste is fairly weak along the lines of average supermarket real ale. Lightly sweet character with a vague bitterness but ultimately not a lot going on. Disappointing.

Draught pint at St Veronus Oktoberfest. Nice chestnut colour. Not much head but laces nicely. Somehow sweet but dry for the style at the same time. Goes nicely with Gruenkohl Suppe and Brathendl, I think.

On tap at The Knick. Malty beany sweet, double decoction-type aroma. Golden amber-dark clear with thin head. Medium body with medium carbonation. Starts sweet and malty, noble hops. Beany-sweet nutty finish with lingering malty after. Tasty Oktoberfest.

Pours clear amber with a creamy off-white head. Sweetish aroma with notes of malts and hint of caramel. Taste is sweetish too with notes of grain and caramel. Finushes with a hint of bitterness. Quite soft CO2. Smooth but slightly watery mouthfeel. (0,5 l bottle, best before 04/15).

Pringao_Toribi (255) - Oviedo, SPAIN - OCT 18, 2014
In short: watery sweet beer. Aroma is weak and hoppy, taste is average cereal (almost like muesli), palate is soft caramel. It would be far better if not for the overall bland sensation (too watery)

Bottle from Whole Foods. Nice burnished brown amber colour, small head. Initial hints of malty sweetness, biscuits and caramel. Minimal bitterness. Soft on the palate. Nice and easy to drink, a little bland.

bottle to glass - grain was main aroma. orange amber pour. taste has no redeeming qualities to me - more soapy than malty; metallic finish. no thx.

Tap - good size foamy head, nice medium copper/amber color, sweet malt aroma and flavor, mild earthy hop balance, not bad overall ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
