Bottled at Loch Ness, Stockholm. Copper colour, creamy head. Caramelly nose. Medium sweet with clean, rounded mouthfeel. Cardboardy malt dominates. Mushy mouthfeel. Modernized, simplified and dumbed down - all the things that characterizes production cost cuttings. The most disappointing German oktoberfestbier ever.

Bottle. It pours a nice dark golden body with a lively carbonation and a decent off-white head. Pleasant but weak aroma of malt, sweetness, a little nuttyness and fruity hoppyness. Quite sweet on the palate, full body, with caramel, some lightly roasted malt and fruityness. Some lingering bitterness, adding joy to the sweet and malty finish. There’s some notes of cooked vegetables in the finish, pulling my score down a little bit, but if drank by numbers, I don’t think it would be noticed. A nice one, easy to drink and quite refreshing.
