This is probably my favorite Oktoberfest beer out of Germany. Terrific clarity, light body, sweet and malty aroma and taste. A bit "bready" taste with a very smooth finish. This is the beer other Oktoberfests need to be compared to. Well done. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Aroma: very intense caramel and bread malts, some hay. Appearance: dark clear amber, medium creamy white head. Taste: light bitter and sweet. Palate: sweets intensify, caramel and bread malts, medium carbonation, very light bitters in the average-long finish. Overall: very nice Oktoberfest beer, great aroma and palate. Bottle from Wittich Weine, Olten.

Dark amber color with white medium-vanishing head. Aroma is malty and caramely. Taste is the same as the aroma, with sweet malts, toasted caramel and some toffee hints.

Drank as Hacker-Pschorr Original Oktoberfest. Aroma was pretty decent sweet malt coming from the characteristic dark orange pour with a moderate head. Taste is malty and lightly sweet but nothing special beyond that. Finish is clean with a little sweetness. Original Oktoberfest is a typical macro with a muted flavor -- pretty middle of the road.

16.9oz bottle (Old Notes)-Pours a medium amber with a decent head. Aroma of caramel, malt, and slight toffee. Taste of the same. This light to medium bodied brew is darn tasty as I am not a fan of this style.

Keg at The Southern. Pretty much yer standard Germanic lager. Pale gold, thin white head. Grassy nose, light vegetal notes. Light astringency on the taste, crisp finish, could drink it by the litre if required, but not required today - forgot my leiderhosen.

Ins Glas ergießt sich ein goldenes Bier mit geringer Schaumkrone. Geruch sehr malzig, würzig, leicht fruchtig. Geschmack malzig fruchtig, getreidig, leichte Bitterkeit.

Couleur blonde-dorée, beau col en mousse. Bu directement a l’oktoberfest. Meilleure bière traditionnel de l’oktoberfest. Bière typique, bon malt caramélisé bien balancé!
