This is probably my favorite Oktoberfest beer out of Germany. Terrific clarity, light body, sweet and malty aroma and taste. A bit "bready" taste with a very smooth finish. This is the beer other Oktoberfests need to be compared to. Well done. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Nice dark amber colour with clear liquid. Hasty off-white head. Malty sweetness with hints of honey and candy. Medium body, soft carbonation. Short bitter finish. Abolutely enjoyable but I would have liked the aroma to be a bit more intense.

Live rating: 500ml bottle from Glug, Grainger Market Newcastle. Served cellar cool in an oversize lager glass. Pours the colour of eucalyptus honey with an off-white head that settles to a skim. Brown bread, honey and farmyard aroma. Chewy caramel malt flavour, with nuts and a hint of banana, offset by some hop greenery. Full bodied, smooth mouth feel, a little bitterness in the finish. Alcohol surprisingly assertive for a less-than-6.0% beer. Almost like a winter ale, very nice.

Bottle. Clear copper body with a small fizzy off-white head. The nose is sweet caramel and toasty malt, with a touch of graininess. The flavor is a little husky, a slight hoppiness on the finish. Light to medium bodied. Decent enough.

Dark amber colour, beige head. Aroma of roasted barley, caramel, dark fruits. Taste is light to medium sweet, slightly bitter, well balanced. Light to medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation. Very nice

Bottle: Pours clear, dark gold/amber with a thick white head. Nutty, caramel scent. Taste is roasted peanut, caramel malt, a little salt. Very nice....smooth and balanced....a nice, even feel to it.

Tap @ Gastropub Tuulensuu.
Pours golden color with a small head. Malty, earthy and a bit nutty aromas. Malty nutty flavor with some hay and mild cellar notes. Very clean and flawless product, a bit too straightforward though.

Bottle. Pours a copper color with white head. Toasty, malty, noble hop, cereal aromas. Malty, bread, earthy flavors. Just an all-around, great drinking oktoberfest beer. It was the best of 4 german oktoberfest beers that I blind tasted.

Clear dark copper body with light brown head. There’s caramel, bread and a little bit of toastiness in taste. Nice märzen!

50cl bottle. Clear dark copper colour with a big white head than turns to a thin lacing during the tasting. Malt, toffee and bread in the aroma. Average carbonation and medium to light body. Taste is balanced slightly sweeter. Overall, a nice beer and for Oktoberfest I was expecting a less interesting beer.

Second Octoberfest beer I’m trying. Not my favourite style, I’ve read that exported beers (one I’ve drinked) are different from brewed for local market. Colour: dark red, clear. Foam: medium, solid. I’m not pro in tasting but I’ve found trouble in finding some hops in taste, just like pils but little bit stronger, with note typical for chech beers. To sum up: not bad but I’ll not dream about that beer.
