2.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20 Delbomber (387) - Philadelphia, USA - SEP 3, 2001
H-P is probably the most consistently disappointing brewery. Their products look nice and I always anticipate a good beer, but I have yet to try a brew of their’s I would consider better than good. Dominated by yeast with fleeting fruitiness, this is another let-down.
2.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20 omhper (17558) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - NOV 19, 2007
Bottled at Loch Ness, Stockholm. Copper colour, creamy head. Caramelly nose. Medium sweet with clean, rounded mouthfeel. Cardboardy malt dominates. Mushy mouthfeel. Modernized, simplified and dumbed down - all the things that characterizes production cost cuttings. The most disappointing German oktoberfestbier ever.

Bottle. Burnt caramel bitter taste. Finsh is bitter. Whole thing is bitter.

A moderate malty nut aroma, toasted and a little sour. Appearence is nice, golden brown with an average off-white head with quickly dimished almost completely, small bubbles. A slightly sweet, slightly bitter taste that has something I don’t like. Average palate, a little watery.
2.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20 joet (1925) - Santa Rosa, California, USA - OCT 14, 2002
Overwhelmed by some bigger lager beers tasted a long with it. Lacking in depth, aroma and flavor. Dim.

Pours a light reddish color. Very nice lacing. Taste is roasted barley and carmel malts. A bit watery and thin in the finish.
2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20 RooftopRogue (423) - Champaign, Illinois, USA - JAN 2, 2006
This beer greets the nose with the smell of roasted yeast. It is a rust colored solution that resides under a thick head. This beer is thin and does not hide its carbonation. The taste of roasted malt and hops fades fast after swallowing.
2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 7/20 BenH (1376) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - SEP 12, 2011
Lots of lager yeast notes on the aroma and taste. Not very interesting. Strong lager. Nice appearance, amber.

Well, delbomber’s rhymse scheme might leave something to be desired, but I agree with his sentiment. An unpleasant sourness and weak malt flavor left me thinking more Heinekin than Rheinheitsgebot.
2.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20 TaxiDriver (1401) - Stadland, GERMANY - APR 10, 2008
Bottle. Nice malty smell, sweet, light hoppy. Dark red clear body, foamy white head, which is fast diminishing. The flavor is moderate sweet (but a strange sweetness), the duration is only short. The body is light and dry with a soft carbonation. Not really a good one for my taste.
