(draught 0,5l @ Netopýr (Brno)) Light sweet, light musty, some other (caramel/honey?) aroma. Clear dark amber color. Minimal white head. Medium sweet, light grainy, very light caramel taste. Medium body. Very light astringent finish. Boring.

Pours clear amber with a creamy off-white head. Sweetish aroma with notes of malts and hint of caramel. Taste is sweetish too with notes of grain and caramel. Finushes with a hint of bitterness. Quite soft CO2. Smooth but slightly watery mouthfeel. (0,5 l bottle, best before 04/15).

In short: watery sweet beer. Aroma is weak and hoppy, taste is average cereal (almost like muesli), palate is soft caramel. It would be far better if not for the overall bland sensation (too watery)

Bottle from Whole Foods. Nice burnished brown amber colour, small head. Initial hints of malty sweetness, biscuits and caramel. Minimal bitterness. Soft on the palate. Nice and easy to drink, a little bland.

500ml bottle poured in a Weizen glass. A: Pours a dark orange to amber color forming a big yellow creamy and bubbled head. Medium retention. A very thin layer remains for a moment and many lacings are formed and left around S: Very grainy and toffee in the nose. Lager yeasts makes it quite bready and biscuity. Notes of flowery hops T: Sweet and toffee upfront. Caramel malts, bread, biscuits, Lager yeasts, citrus hops, good smooth hops bitterness M: Light to medium body. Slightly molasses. Medium carbonation. Excellent grainy and little bit hoppy aftertaste O: Excellent drinkability. Excellent Oktoberfest specimens. Hacker-Pschorr quality. Prost! [ BA Review @ 10/13/2012 ]

Couleur ambrée sombre, légère mousse blanche. Nez leger malt caramel. Gout leger mais net de peau de maïs, notes houblonnées, petites amertume et petites épices, notes caramel. Pas courante, pas trop mal.

Bottle from WholeFoods Piccadilly. Pours a dark orange-amber colour. Subtle and well balanced aroma. Warming malty flavours but light with a hoppy (for a marzen style) finish. My favourite of the Oktoberfest biers.
