2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
BB 4/14. Poured a murky brown colour with a three- to four-finger slightly off white foamy head that retained OK for a while then quickly diminished. Initial lace as big foamy blobs then nil. Carbonation low with small bubbles. Aroma pleasantly of spicy cloves- not over done. As beer warms aroma intensity stays much the same, always pleasant. Taste initially of sweet malt then to pleasant cloves. Light body, a bit thin. Soft spicy cloves and slightly dry finish. Nice.

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle by Dohny, many thanks! Aroma wheat, yeasty, banana, clove. Typical weizen. Lightly hazy golden-amber colour. Taste has light green apples (huh?), strong malty sweetness, without weizen character. Finish has some spiciness. Out of all styles.

2.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 7/20
Bottled by Dohni, many thanks! Malty aroma and taste. Brown color. A tiny hoppy finish, surprisingly. Alcohol pretty present. Weizen characteristics present but covered by the malt dominance. Strange, a new experience for me. Overall drinkable but nothing special.

Beautiful orange with amber reflex color whit white creamy head... Light wheat and yeast aroma, good taste with sweet notes, not fastidious yeast notes... Good weissbier!

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Murky dark copper colour, medium white creamy head; malty aroma; malt/cereal driven taste too, nice rounded profile of toast and sweetish caramel/toffee flavours; muted banana; a little bitterness on the finish; easy drinking for the abv; decent if fairly unremarkable.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle from Au Grain D’Orge - Dusty dark amber color, rocky white head, good lacing on the glass - Aroma is bready, banana, malty - taste is bready, malty (wheat) - medium body, creamy, high carbonation, medium sweet finish - i like weizen beer and this is a really good one, good balance between malt & ester (bread, banana).

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bottle. Pours cloudy darkish amber with airy but stable off-white head. Clear aroma of banana, malt, yeast and hops. Bitter, hoppy flavour, preceded by sweetish notes of malt and touches of banana. High carbonation. Watery aftertaste with sourish notes. Not bad as such but not very impressive, either.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Rated on 4-27-2009. This flip-top bottled beer pours a large off-white fizzy head, hazy orange with a golden tint body, visible carbonation, and a fair amount of lacing. The Aroma is malty, sweet, clove, spicy, hint of bananas, wheat, fruity, and hops. The Taste is the same as the Aroma along with yeast and caramel. The Palate is lightly tingly and this beer is light bodied. All-in-all, this beer is easy to drink and could be considered a session beer due to its light taste, and would be an okay beer on a hot, humid day.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Stern means star according to my notes. Must have been a good day. 9/8/12. Lacks esters I would expect from a weissebier. malty, grainy, muddy. Almost a dunkelweisse? (Note, I didn’t have any information about what this beer was when I drank it). creamy mouthfeel, slightly tart. moderate banana as it warms.
