Botte; Medium Hefe color with white-ish haze. Delicious flavors of spiced bananna, a touch of clove and orange. Very smooth and high marks for appearance

Turbid amber with a typical heavily carbonated and thick wheat beer head. Aromas of phenols and fruits with flavours of sweet bready cocoa malts. Very refreshing.

Bottle. Light amber with a small head. Aroma of dried fruit. Flavour is light caramel with a fizzy wheat base and a velvet texture. Palate is quite dry.

Dark orange amber cloudy body with thick creamy head. Aromas wheat malts, yeast, some orange, fruits. Palate is medium watery with smooth carbonation and fruity tart finish with bananas.. The aftertaste is mild bitter and little dry due yeasty composure. Rather average Hefeweizen, nothing special among others.

Single bottle purchased from a Tenglemann’s Grocery Store in Bertchesgaden, Germany on 11/21/2011. Colour: Dark orange and light brown, clouded, medium head. Tinge of gloomy gray as well. Nose: Clemintine orange, some lemon, raisin, rich malt. Taste: Medium-light sweet, light bitter, medium-light sour. Sweet wheat, biscuit, again citrus. A skunkiness about.

Bottle @ Home. Definitely not a Weizen "hell". almost brown color, White big head (always the same old story, you loved weizen style). The aroma is totally dominated by the clove; absolutely too much. Just after the clove come the banana, yeast, bread, malt characters. The taste is very dry. a lot of spices, pepper mostly. The body is not full maybe, but it is somehow sticky. I neither like the taste, nor the beer is easy to drink. Very disappointing for the style.

Bottle: Fruity aroma, mainly raisins. Hazy amber/brown color, frothy off-white head. Flavor is smooth, light sweet, bready, malty and light roasty. Also fruity notes, plums and raisins. Nice.

Swing-top. Good mix of strong phenolics and lesser esters in the nose with a spicy yeast. Superb! Really one of the better and more provocative aromas I’ve found this year. Cloudy dark golden pour with a rich and foamy, tiny-bubbled and lasting beige head. Crisp medium body has a yeasty but not granular feel, ha a wood-inflected bready and yeasty aftertaste that is warm and delicious. Low bitterness. Phenols are way down in the mouth, but there’s still strong vanilla and vague vitamin contribution. Smooth, delicious, and refined.
