Bottle from a Munich supermarket. Cloudy brown. It is a very true to type Bavarian Hefeweisse, dyed brown. There is nothing wrong with this. But I am getting bored.

Bottle. Muddy to the point of canal water opacity with a deep cratered cream head. Black swirling Petra dish floaties. Not sure if that warrants a bonus point or not. Reassuring clove peppered banana and ripe plum aroma. Silken with ashy clove spice, plum, ripe nectarine, vanilla and discreet peppered banana. Toffee apple and biscuit suggestions. Good. Just not the mad, ester-drenched weiss I was hoping for.

Pours hazy golden/amber with a foamy off-white head. Sweetish aroma with notes of malts, yeast, dough and fruits. Taste is quite similar, smooth and sweetish, but there is bitter herbal notes too. Not bad. (0,5l swing-top bottle, bb 01/16)
