Die Schaumkrone hält nicht gut und hat sich schon nicht gut gebildet. Geschmack: hopfig-säuerlich, etwas herb. Auf mich macht es einen etwas unreifen Eindruck. Fazit: Trinkbar, aber das kann Hacker besser! Test vom 31.12.2008, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 8,8,8,8,11,8 - 8,15

Orange-gold a shade darker than your bog-standard lager. Vague, soapy, distinctly curryhouse aroma with a background blade of grass and slight shrubby impressions as it warms. Decent grassy taste with more hop and bitterness than expected. Sweet with honey-dipped paper notes and a metallic streak. Drinkable, though certainly not superior.

Really mashy, but light, malts in the aroma. Not quite stodgy though. Fairly pale orange. Taste continues the aroma, and the finish continues the taste. It’s light malts everywhere. Nice, but not particularly sophisticated. Phil was blitzed by this stage, and we didn’t write numbers down, but somehow (i.e. Anna) managed to get a review on paper, so points might not be so totally accurate. (Unlike points I give usually, they’re always spot on, first time.)

Bottle. Mild aroma of citrus and malt. Quite malty taste. Medium carbonation. Nothing special.

500 ml bottle. Golden yellow that starts with a nice white head but fade away quickly. Aroma is light hoppy, hints of bread and malt. Taste quite bitter and malty. Dry finish. I liked...

(Bottle, 0.5 l, at Kittys, 20111214) The beer poured golden and clear. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had grain and grass. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were grain, grass, sweetness, fruitiness, malts and bitterness. Aftertaste was grainy and bitter. Good strong pils.

Bottle. Pours a clear yellow with a small white head. Aroma is dry, herbal, some maltiness. Taste is dry too, rather plain. Herbal and malty tones, not much else. Alcohol. Palate is light. Too alcoholic to be enjoyable.

Pours a clear yellow body with a white thick head that dissappears quickly. Smell is of grass and hay. Taste is refreshing with a slight sweet taste that is short and the bitter comes in quickly and finishes nicely with the carbonation. No lacing. Enjoyable and will buy again.

Pours a clear yellow gold with a small white head. Aroma is floral malts and grassy corn. Taste is very light grain with some faint german hop. Overall it’s a poor marzen with not the malt profile that I was looking for.

Mit einem satten Knall öffnet sich der Bügelverschluß und gibt den Inhalt frei. Dieser ist gold-gelb mit groben Schaum. Der Geruch gibt sich malzig. Geschmacklich ist das Hacker-Pschorr sehr würzig, malzbetont mit einer Spur von Fruchtigkeit. Ein passables Festbier. Sehr weich und süffig.
