3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle shared with McTapps. Well, I expected more. More aromas, more alcohol and more taste. This one is solid with some aromas of malt and raisins and bread but it´s not that like I expected it should be it. Nice beer but not rocket science.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Almost yellow, slightly more amber and big whita foamy head. First some light hoppy citrus aromas then in the finish some darker malty notes of dried fruits like figs. Surprisingly long aftertaste. Very good märzen.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle. Golden with nice head and lace. Mild grassy honey aroma. Medium honey cereal sweetness with mild grassy noble finish leaving some grassy cereal in the mouth. Medium light body, minerally clear. Pretty good. But not a marzen. Closer to a helles IMHO.

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Aroma has sweet malts, grains, bread crust and a bit of alcohol. Taste starts slightly sweet and malty but gets bitter on the finish. The hops are generic and give a harsh bitterness on the finish and linger in the aftertaste. Medium body and carbonation. Not a style I enjoy too much.

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle. At around 5°C. Pours somekind of light amber color with small-medium white head. Aroma of grass, toast and grains. Flavor is also some kind of grainy with solid german hop punch. Light-medium body. Bitter finish. Overall : ok. Hop profile is nice, but it would be nicer if here is some more malt complexity.

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Clear golden color with white head that goes down quickly. Aroma is some grassy hops, straw, sweet pale malts, caramelish-honey malts as well. Taste is mostly the same. Feels full enough and it has quite some malt character in there. Drinkable, but not sure if Oktoberfest is right...

3.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
11th June 2015: 500ml Flip-top bottle into a Wolnzacher Brauhaus ’Hopfenperle’ glass tankard at home. I figured a fest beer would want a proper glass to be drank out of, and one from it’s home city at that! Good looking brew, golden, clear and bright, the snowy white head as clean as the beers body. The aroma was a honey on brown bread sort of affair with more malts in the background. Taste was malt first and foremost, semi-sweet and again with honey notes coming through. Fairly dry with the finish getting drier. Bread notes also within the flavours: a very pleasant beer overall.
