Bottle. A small, off-white head sits on top of a clear, golden body. Pine cones and a little peppery touch, as well as pale malts and a generic fruityness in the aroma. The flavor could probably use a little bit more bitterness, but is quite pleasant anyway, with pale malts, fruityness and a slight piney touch. Dry and medium bodied, pleasant carbonation. A nice one, flavorful and quenching. 111126

Golden with a decent head. Malt-accented nose with light fruitiness and a slight herbal character. Tastes fresh with only a light doughy malt accent and a hint of herbs. Subtle beer, in the modern festbier tradition.
3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 Beershine (4754) - The Sunshine State, Florida, USA - JUN 22, 2009
Draft at the brewery. Bright golden, served in a dimpled mug. White foamy head with gorgeous lacing. The aroma is bright Munich-like festbier and grainy. It’s a solid one by that standard, with the sweet, big malty flavors and a dry, fruity finish. Very good for what it does.
