330 ml bottle in several places round Passau. Good quality German-type Pilsener, i.e. crisp, light and hoppy. Retains its bitterness throughout giving it a well-made feel. The best higher-volume straight Pilseners we found on our 3-week German trip.

bottle from Getränke Degenhart Passau-Grubweg. Clear pale yellow, large white head. Resiny hop aroma. Light and elegant malty background with loads of green, resiny hops, pleasantly bitter and highly aromatic. Smooth palate. Rather hoppy for a Bavarian beer. Really, really well crafted example of this style! A delight!
