The bottle looks good, the beer in the glass also. Starts very fruity and sweet, like peach. Finish is strong, modest sourish, more yeasty. Nice hefeweizen!

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle ( with greetings to Garching !): Golden to deep golden, hazy, slowly collapsing fluffy off-white head; quite heavy fruity aroma: ripe bananas and some lemons with a tinge of toasted malt; medium bodied, soft MF, moderate to solid sweet-sourish flavour; solid, but soft fruity-lemony finish, rounded by a well hidden tartness and wheaty aromas. Very good Weizen.........

Thank you Masn/g2b.dk for this one. Itís hazy and golden with a nice head. The aroma has notes of cloves, wheat and banana. The flavour has a light sweetness and light notes of banana, clove and wheat. Itís not very powerful, but quite quenching and OK.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
on tap in Eschlkam in the Bavarian Forest. Was named Waldschmidt Jakobi Weisbier, presumably brewed by Hacklberg for Penzkofer-Getršnke Eschlkam. Waldschmit was a famous citizen of Eschlkam. Pale yellow colour, very cloudy, large head. Malty and fruity flavours, yeasty and slightly hoppy. Very enjoyable and thirst-quenching.

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
(bottle) Hazy yellow to orange colour with a big fluffy slightly yellowish head. Dusty and yeasty, soft sweet malty aroma with shy notes of banana and vanilla. Smooth mouthfeel, light bodied, slightly sweet malty and banana- and pear-fruity taste, yeasty and tart, shy hoppy finish. Not very convincing Weizen.
