Not bursting with NZ hops type aroma or taste really but fairly nice, light pale ale. Classic profile.

Cask@GBBF 2014, London (13/08/2014) - orange pour with white head. Aroma and taste was light fuity with some floral and some weird vegetable taste, (may of been a duff cask) but dint taste great. Will try a re-rate sometime.

Gravity at GBBF 2014. Poured a hazy, deep golden colour, with a dense white head. Aroma of grain, oranges and hay. Citrus hop flavours, with a little mango sweetness and dry straw. Finish was slightly earthy, with hay and a touch of aniseed.

Sampled @ GBBF day 2. Slightly unclear orange color, average sized white to off-white head. Smell and taste lightly malts, nicely hoppy, soft floral notes, lightly bitter, lightly tropical fruits. Decent body, soft carbonation. Nice one.

Cask at GBBF, 2014. Gold pour with a white head. Stewed veg aroma with a modicum of fruit. Dull flavours of cucumber and more stewed veg. Not good.

Cask gravity at the 2014 GBBF. Clear golden orange colour with a lasting loose off white head. Aroma is spicy, cleaning products cutrus . flavour is spicy citrus, somewhat dull, light caramel. Palate is semi sweet, moderate carbonation. Middle of the road.

Cask conditioned handpump Wheatsheaf London 29/05/14. An orange gold coloured beer with a white ring of head. NZ hopping throughout, Predominantly Motueka I reckon. Pretty decent and very drinkable but doesn’t hit any heights really. The Motueka toffee sweetness hints come through. I guess I like it. Bleeding overpriced pub though,

Aroma: floral hops. Appearance: light brown, no head. Taste: light to medium sweet. Palate: light to medium carbonation, sweets and bitters. Overall: OK APA, too light on the carbonation and flavours for me. Pint at the Gunmakers Pub Marylebone, London.

Scopey (6865) - Croydon, Greater London, ENGLAND - JAN 30, 2014
Cask at Union Tavern. It pours clear amber with a small bubbly head. The nose is toasty, earth, grain and light spice. The taste is earth, leafy, grapefruit, pithy lemon, wood, mild astringency and grain with a dry finish. Medium body and soft carbonation. Easy going stuff, but not a whole lot going on. OK at best.

Cask at the Bell, Waltham St Lawrence. Amber with a tight white head; fresh, leafy aroma with a hint of tropical fruit; woody taste with delicate fruit in the background; and a clean dry finish. Lacking the full-on "fruit salad" effect expected from New Zealand hops, but instead this is well-balanced and rather subtle.
