Not bursting with NZ hops type aroma or taste really but fairly nice, light pale ale. Classic profile.

Aroma: floral hops. Appearance: light brown, no head. Taste: light to medium sweet. Palate: light to medium carbonation, sweets and bitters. Overall: OK APA, too light on the carbonation and flavours for me. Pint at the Gunmakers Pub Marylebone, London.

Scopey (5525) - Croydon, Greater London, ENGLAND - JAN 30, 2014
Cask at Union Tavern. It pours clear amber with a small bubbly head. The nose is toasty, earth, grain and light spice. The taste is earth, leafy, grapefruit, pithy lemon, wood, mild astringency and grain with a dry finish. Medium body and soft carbonation. Easy going stuff, but not a whole lot going on. OK at best.

berkshirejohn (4204) - Bracknell, Berkshire, ENGLAND - JAN 10, 2014
Cask at the Bell, Waltham St Lawrence. Amber with a tight white head; fresh, leafy aroma with a hint of tropical fruit; woody taste with delicate fruit in the background; and a clean dry finish. Lacking the full-on "fruit salad" effect expected from New Zealand hops, but instead this is well-balanced and rather subtle.

Cask at The Bell in Waltham st Lawrence. Golden honey coloured beer. There is a peppery dry quality to these NZ hops countering the honeyish fruit.

Draft at Pigs Ear Beer Festival 2013 - London. Pours clear gold with a light, white cream head. The nose has light tropical fruits, mango. Light to medium sweet flavor with juicy citrus, light minerals, honey, pale bread and orange. Light to medium bodied with fine carbonation. Moderately sweet to finish with some sticky, ripening citrus fruits. Fair play.

Lightly hazy gold beer, small pale cream coloured head. Palate is smooth with good fine carbonation. Slightly sweet malt. Light floralness. Very mellow citrus. Light dry finish. Passable but disappointing.

Gravity dispense at Pigs Ear ’13, 03/12/13. Lightly hazed golden with a moderate off white covering. Nose is earthy hops, light spice, caramel, bitter orange. Taste comprises caramel malt, light grapefruit, orange pith, earthy hops. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, dry closure. Ok but not enough hop presence for me.

Gravity at Pigs Ear Beer Fest 2013. 04/12/13. Light amber with a perfumey aroma. Light body, a little thin. Some toffee, orange and a bit of funky fruit but this is pretty bland all in all.

Cask at the Craven Arms; golden amber pour with thin white head, wet cardboard aroma, some citrus with some sweet caramel on the taste.
