Cask gravity at Firkin Ale House Folkestone. Black beer lasting tan head. Good roasty aroma bit too much liquorice for me. A little thin. Some chocolate. Not for me but ok good condition

Draft at Pigs Ear Beer Festival 2013 - London. Pours dark brown with a creamy white head. The aroma holds toast, burnt meat, torched leaves and tobacco. Light sweet flavor with ash and dry cocoa. Light to medium bodied with fine carbonation. Dry roast finish with burnt cocoa and dirt. Decent, hard-edged stuff.

Pigs Ear. Clear deep amber beer. Little bubbly tan tan head. Palate is smooth and dry. Light dusting of chocolate powder on the mellow dark malts. Whisper of dark fruits and coffee. Light dry finish. Okay.
