Cask at Whey Pat Ale Festival, St Andrews. Light copper with thin white head. Nose is a fruity one with some hoppy tones and some balancing malts. Mouth is malty, some alcohol, some sweet bitterness and fruitiness. Good, if a bit watery.

Tasted at Chelmsford beer festival 08. nice balance of malt / hops in the nose. A crisp slightly peppery taste with a clean finish. Refreshing and quite more-ish!

On draft in Newcastle. Creamy head, light amber pint. Looks very presentable. Taste is fresh fruit and bitter, with a nice dry finish. A very enjoyable english ale.

Half, cask version (gravity dispense) served at a perfect drinking temperature at the Essex pub The Swan. Clear copper body with a naked surface. Some fruity esters in flavour. Bitterness towards the end can be perceived. Average English bitter (Little Totham, 03.05.2008).
