Copper with small head. Aroma of orange and spices. Flavor is malt and solid hoppiness. hughie (2286), Bedford, Bedfordshire, England Aug 3, 2007 Cask at Wellington Arms, Bedford. Dark orange gold. Faint sweet fruity aroma. Pleasant fresh citric taste and a hoppy finish. Decent pint Magic_dave6 (4012), London, Greater London, England Jan 10, 2007 Aroma is floural hops, fruity, light pear drop and peachy. Taste is slightly pale biscuit malts, grassy bitterish and again peachy at times. Doesnt seem to blend to well though, therefore alright. Pub (4124), Banbury, Oxfordshire, England Jun 3, 2006 Cask conditioned at The Pub, Wanstrow, Somerset. Gold with white head. Dry and bitter which is a great start, but this had an unhappy water biscuit note, a little cardboardy. A decent hop finish with some grapefruit on the tongue. Sounds like it can get beter than this. dnas2 (524), Yelverton, Devon., Devon, England May 26, 2006 Cask Handpump at The Wellington, Birmingham. Golden, with a minimal creamy head. Berries in the scent, very fruity (predominantly grapefruit, I think) in the mouth, with a bitter aftertaste. Very good.
