Cask handpull at Woodins Shades Liverpool St. As Hadrian Border Farne Island, 4.0%. Amber orange, clear, still, small foamy white head. Aroma is bread dough, sugary, caramel. Body is smooth with soft carbonation. Taste is bready, touch of sawdust, nice level of bitterness. Lasting honey sweetness. An enjoyable bitter in nice condition here. Good balance between the malts and old school hop flavours.

Bottle. This is a pretty blah bitter with nothing to really get it over the line where I would want to session it.
