Cask, handpump at The Hop Pole, Aylesbury, Bucks, 11.10.10 This version is 4.3% . Pours amber with a white head, light aroma some malt and fruit. Taste is rasping fruity bitterness, bit harsh I think, some pithy fruitiness, not totally my thing bit unbalanced, but that said not bad either. A6 A3 T6 P3 Ov12 3.0

Tasted this in the Three Judges, Glasgow in November 2004. Cask, handpump dispense. Clear copper red in colour with a thin white head. Slight malt note in the short nose. Thin watery mouthfeel and good lacing. Pale malt gives a weak maltloaf base with tart redcurrant fruit. Metallic tang of hop resins gives a dry spicy bite to the long aftertaste. Finish is weakly malty and quickly runs out of steam. Not one of their best from the portfolio.

[Cask from The Three Judges] Gold/yellow with a thin layer of head. Nose if peachy and citric. Light fruity palate, sweet upfront, touch of bitterness.

NIce taste, very foamy and takes a while to settle. Golden but bitter in aftertaste.
