[cask at Cloisters, Edinburgh] Pours a clear gold, with a straw aroma mingled with some fruity hop. Some malt on the flavour, with a second dose of zesty hop on the finish. Decent British IPA [18012012]

Cask @ The Abbotsford, Edinburgh. Honey biscuit aroma. Golden colour with a good foamy head. Unusual fish & chips flavour. Very smooth. Not a bad bitter.
3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 ladnewton (917) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - JUL 18, 2009
Cask via handpump at the Pembury Tavern during the festival, on 16th July 2009. Gold in colour with white head that quickly flattens. Initial aromas of fresh-baked biscuit in the nose then fairly hoppy with grassy and cheesy notes in main kick. Texture is on the flat side. A dry finish with grass and grapefruit.
3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 MesandSim (7109) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - JUL 15, 2009
UPDATED: JUL 28, 2009 A Mes rate: cask at the Pembury Tavern. Mid gold with a decent bright white head and in pretty decent condition. At the Pembury??? I kid you not. Aroma of hops, really good hops. Sadly they’re killed by an oily fatty note. The flavour is identical. Really good hops but there is a clear oily residue that sticks around and just won’t bugger off. Good citric bitterness in the finish brings it back on track thankfully. Erm, yeah, that’s it.

Cask handpull, The Red Lion, Alnmouth, Northumberland. Over-chilled orange gold with a snowy collar. Indistinct buttery orange escaping. Smooth and orange-accented with reasonable husky back up, choc hints, solid bitterness. Disapointing and not very IPA-like, but decent enough.

Aroma is floural hops, fruity, light pear drop and peachy. Taste is slightly pale biscuit malts, grassy bitterish and again peachy at times. Doesnt seem to blend to well though, therefore alright.
3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 imdownthepub (7491) - Banbury, Oxfordshire, ENGLAND - JUN 3, 2006
Cask conditioned at The Pub, Wanstrow, Somerset. Gold with white head. Dry and bitter which is a great start, but this had an unhappy water biscuit note, a little cardboardy. A decent hop finish with some grapefruit on the tongue. Sounds like it can get beter than this.
