DanielBrown (2721) - Birmingham (via Leicester), - MAR 25, 2005
Gravity at the Wellington beer festival, Birmingham. Black, with no head. Dry, roasted flavour, hinting at some tartness. A strong flavour, with a good aftertaste. Slightly carbonated mouthfeel. Great Stout.

Cask conditioned - handpump - Malt Shovel Northampton. A very dark brown stout with a ruddy hue. A dry, roasty aroma and dry tastes too with hints of molasses, treacle and coal. Tasty but a bit too dry.
