Cask pint, hand-pulled in a Alnwick pub on 23rd Oct 2014. Light golden body, clear and bright with a good white head that produced some heavy lacing. Mild nose of light malts and mini citrus hoppiness, dry finish to the taste that was an almost bland blend of not much. A bit thin and tasteless.

Cask Gosling Bridge Carlisle. Bittersweet malty beer, with an unusual background light smokiness. Well bodied, slight apple and pear flavours. Unusual but reasonable.

500ml bottle. Clear amber with a small head that disappears leaving slight lacing. Yeasty and grainy aroma. Flavours of straw, citrus, a little grain, a mildly sweet middle and a moderate hoppy butter finish. Light bodied, light to moderate carbonation. A refreshing pale ale.
