3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Cask at The Bishop’s Mill (JDW), Durham, £2.05/pint.
Pale, golden beer with slight lingering haze and cappuccino style, white head. Aroma is powerfully rural with grass, hay, earth, dirt and flowers. Malt and cereal dominate the flavour with a chunky biscuit finish and light floral hop notes that come into play more in the second half of the pint with dry, puckering mouthfeel. Pleasant and very easy to drink.

2 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Cask pint, hand-pulled in a Alnwick pub on 23rd Oct 2014. Light golden body, clear and bright with a good white head that produced some heavy lacing. Mild nose of light malts and mini citrus hoppiness, dry finish to the taste that was an almost bland blend of not much. A bit thin and tasteless.
