0,33l bottle at home from trade with tomer. BB 05/2016. almost black color, medium big tan head. smells sour, green apples, parfume, spices, bit nutty, marzipan, caramel. nice smell but probably not how the beer was intended. medium body, soft carbonation, slick mouthfeel. tastes of dried fruits, raisins, some sourness, spices, light green apple notes, bit glueish, some nuts, caramel, marzipan. finishes lightly sour with notes of caramel, spices and nutty notes. overall decent stuff, but sourness probably is not intented. ok

330 ml. bottle shared with Kraddel @ Rampkrot. Obtained in the big Israeli trade. Cool Magic the Gathering style label. Very dark wood blackish brown, solid dark mocha head. Nose is sweet oily, umami, leaves, smell is rather weak. Taste is weird mushroom, leaves, umami, lots of basic cheap mocha powder sweetness, cacao powder, good deal of soy sauce. Lower body & powdered cacao body. Okay for what it is but nothing close to impressive for a porter.

Small coarseish beige head doesn’t last. Hazy opaque black body goes dark brown at edges. Herbal vinegary grainy aroma with perfumy notes. Dryish mealy earthy chocolate taste with vague acidic tinge and herbal notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, soft mouthfeel. Dryish herbal perfumy aftertaste with vaguely roasty mealy notes. No good. (0.5l bottle.)

Bittersweet, a hint of soot, a bit short and thin. Malty tail, quite medical. On the sour side.
