Leighton (6956) - London, ENGLAND - MAR 12, 2013
Bottle shared at CBC - Clerkenwell, London. Big thanks to Tomer for hooking it up with some Israeli brews! Pours cloudy red-brown with a big, off-white froth. Light toast, dry orange, bread. Light bodied with average carbonation. Faint pine and toasty malts to finish. Not too bitter. Some mellow berries. OK.

Israeli tick! Bottle, shared by Leighton. Cheers, fella. The pour’s deep amber with a small head. The aroma’s strawberry, hints of caramel, forest fruits. Light notes of old grass cuttings. The taste is somewhat raggedy straw, red berry, slight hop bitterness. Robust malt profile. Somewhat faded flavors. Medium body, soft carbonation. Overall, pretty forgettable.

Bottle shared by Leighton. It pours cloudy deep amber with a big off-white head. The nose is earthy, spice, bread, orange and light marmalade. The taste is wood, orange, citrus pith, light tang, spice, earth, bread and some alcohol warmth. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Strong yeast charachter. So-so.

teddybeer (1484) - Madrid, SPAIN - JAN 26, 2013
[Thanks to tomer]. Bottled. Country #64. Hazy brown colour with a foamy, creamy and large off-white head, with an excellent lasting. Aroma is floral hoppy with hints of caramel. Flavor has notes of caramel, malts, chocolate but very good balanced with a light bitterness. Creamy and dense on palate.

Bottled (thanks DSG!). Deep amber colour, mediumsized beige head. Aroma is sweet malts, some toffee, mild floral and fruity notes. Flavour is fruity, floral, grassy and some mild bready notes. A bit soapy hoppyness in the finish.

ThreeCats (297) - ISRAEL - SEP 3, 2012
Huge tan head over hazy mahogany body. Aroma of malt and hops wafts from the glass before I even put it to my nose, further sniffs reveal grass and piny notes, and some zest. Taste smooth and bitter, with some lemony and liquorice notes, and nice balance. Palate warm and not particularly bitter with some lemon marmalade. Nice, solid, but surprisingly mellow IPA considering the ABV.

Courtesy DSG. Brown coloured and unclear. Has an off-white head, lasting. Aroma is hoppy, some malty and salty notes too. Nice flavor, sweet and fruity start, herbs and nice bitter finish. Creamy texture and soft carbonation.
