3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 10/20 kerenmk (414) - Tel Aviv, ISRAEL - MAR 17, 2012
Bottle. Pours dark, opaque, minimal tan head. Faint roast aroma, also honey, toffee and some wine. Alcoholic sweet-bitter taste. Light body, thick texture, long, sweet aftertaste - too much honey for me.
3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 tomer (973) - Rishon Le Zion, ISRAEL - JAN 8, 2012
Bottle, medium dense head, opaque very dark brown to black, aroma of cola, brown sugar, dark fruit and a hint of charred wood and something funky in the back, malty bread flavour with some cocoa nad brown sugar, light and long bitterness which feels chocolaty, balanced and mellow. Feels quite belgium and extremely enjoyable.
3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 DSG (3004) - Tel Aviv, ISRAEL - AUG 14, 2011
Bottle. Very dark brown to black-colored with a medium beige head. Aroma of malt, caramel, fruity esters, honey, a bit of dark fruits, some bubblegum, alcohol and notes of clove. Sweet malty flavor with caramel, fruits, a hint of licorice, light spiciness and a bit of alcohol. Finishes a bit drier. Medium-bodied. Tasty and pretty easy-drinking for an 8% Belgian-style ale.
