Aroma of dark fruits, prunes and some alcohol, quite nice. Muddy red/brownish colored body, with a small head. Lots of alcohol in the flavor and a nice fruityness. Quite decent.

Redish amber with small head. Fruity aroma with nots of sweetness. Soft feel. Sweet with fruity bitter aftertaste.

Cloudy golden-brown color. A lot of malt aroma; alcohol; light yeast; a touch of Acacia honey. Very sweet, maybe too much, light hop.

An unclear amber beer with a brown head. The aroma is sweet with strong notes of alchol and lesser of caramel. The flavor is very sweet with notes of yeast, spices, and alcohol.

Bottle. Hazy amber colour with a big baige head. Sweet fruity aroma and a sweet fruity light sour alcoholic taste. Medium to full body and a sweet light alcoholic finish.

red-amber colour, very foamy head, nice lace, strong nutty aroma, notes of vinegar and alcohol, earthy, very very sweet, full-bodied, long sugary finish with the expected warming alcohol touch - thanks to fiulijn for this rare beer

Huge bodied dark beer. I was expecting syrupyness, but it was suprisingly light. The first beer I’ve had over 12% which wasn’t some kind of supercharged lager, and I found this excellent. Really put the wine in Barley wine.

Apple aroma. Cloudy, orange/brown color, beige head, good lace. Sweet, very fruity, apple, orange, full. Suprisingly well hidden alcohol and easy drinkable.

Cloudy dark amber color; huge head. Quite sweet aroma, malty, alcoholic, light vegetables and very light mint; then it develops the hop aroma. Sirupy, malty; really sweet. Would be great with some more bitterness. A real Barley Wine.

Hazy dark amber color; fine perlage; huge thick head, persistent, magnificent. Strong (sweet) malt aroma, Barley Wine like; palm sugar; very light yeast and fruitness. Malt syrup, correct bitterness. Very sweet, which also helps hiding very well the alcohol.
Far from being complex, but really enjoyable for a late evening. I like it!

Cloudy orange brown color, medium head. Aroma is sweet candy sugar, apricot, raisin. Taste is very sweet, like sugarwater, some caramel malty notes, bit alcohol. Alcohol is quite well masked actually, but the beer is a bit unbalanced. Sweet and alcoholic palate.
