Faszinierendes Hopfenaroma! Uneingeschränkt empfehlenswert! 12,14,12,14,12,15 - 13,80

Very refreshing, light IPA. Great for summer. Intensive citra aroma and taste. Alcohol on the light side - so not a very deep experience. Still my favorite Hopfenstopfer.

Bottle, from Liebick Getranke, on the train to Ulm 07/02/15. Hazed orange amber with a decent off white covering. Nose is citric peel, pale malt, juicy hop notes, tangerine, straw, melon. Taste comprises citric hop presence, light pine, straw, mandarin, tangerine, light grapefruit. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a hoppy wash. Decent enough hoppy sessioner.

Poured an orange brown and came with a massive lasting head that I’ve seen on other beers from Häffner Bräu. Citrus, tangerine, mango, orange, and grapefruit combined to form an aroma which was impressive and slightly sour. The flavor was mild orange and citrus and wasn’t as bold as the aroma. This beer was highly carbonated, and it was quite crisp. While plenty drinkable I did find Citra Ale to be a bit of a let down after the aroma.

Bottle. 5.1%. Best before 07.06.14; 8 months past. Pours a clear straw yellow, with a diminishing off-white head. Aroma is citrus hops, a bit tart. Feels a bit stale. Flavour is sweetish, with citrus hops, a bit tart. Light milky note. Dull. Too much carbonation. Overall not bad, but so-so; should probably try a fresher one. 28.02.15.

Bottle at Braukunst Live 2015 Munich. Low fluffy and quickly disapearing white head. Hazy dark yellow body. Oranges peaches lemon hops aroma. Mild and smooth relatively sweet creamy orange lemon flavor with a low carbonation and a long sweet finish.
