3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Keg at Beergeek. Hazy Gold with a White head. Pronounced citrus aroma. Flavour has lots of interesting citrus and grass. These new Hallertau varietals are very interesting.

3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
330ml bottle, BB: 01/15. Pours hazy golden color with huge withe head, good persistence. Nose is on citrus notes and yeast. Taste is belgian yeast, fruits like peach and grapefruit with a metallic aftertaste. Not too much hops. Medium bodied, high carbonation. A good stuff but more a belgian ale than an IPA.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
0,33 l bottle. Clear pale golden with incredibly huge white, rocky head. Poured it slowly into the glass but the head was growing very fast. Aroma of citrus, passion fruit and mango. Bitter taste of citrus, grapefruit and malts. Lively carbonation, crisp bitter finish. The taste was absolutely pleasant, but I didn’t like the enormous head. The flocs in the beer where a bit disturbing. Still good.

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20
Aroma: fresh white citrus, grapefruit, riesling notes.
Appearance: hazy golden color, nice white head.
Taste: medium bitterness (resin, grapefruit), nice malty backbone, fresh citrus notes (mango, grapefruit), some herbal notes, alcohol is well-covered.
Palate: medium body and medium carbonation, bitter finish.
Overall: Fantastic beer, which shows all German hops potential. Recommended.

2.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bottle from Bier-Deluxe. Golden, clear, with huge white head, too much carbonation. Aroma is floral, sweet, some blackcurrant. Taste matches aroma. A bit sweet for me. Bittering seems less than 55 IBU somehow. Not a favourite.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Aroma: pineapple, peach, papaya, basement; Appearance: pale golden, vanishing large foamy head; Taste: medium bitterness, strong sweetness, slight sourness; Palate: fizzy carbonation, slick texture, medium body, bitter finish
Peculiar strong fruit notes and almost gruit bitterness in the foreground. Probably unbalanced.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Pours blurry golden, little head smell is weak but not unpleasant. Taste is very carbonated at first, strong bitter taste comes quickly after the first sip, but it does not hold. It turns into a sour, unpleasant aftertaste. Needs more balance.

3.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
330ml bottle@home (from Bier-Deluxe) hazy deep golden colour with plentiful rocky white head. Aroma has lots of citrus and pineapple with some mandarine and grass innthe background. Taste is lightly sour and bitter but mostly quite sweet and fresh. Palate is medium bodied and little sticky with crispy and lively carbonation. Hopfenstopher Comet IPA is not really an IPA as the hops are very much in the background and sweet but fresh tropical fruitiness is on the front. Easily drinkable but could really have used a lot more hops.
