330ml bottle from Berlin Bier Shop. Was expecting a little more from this beer but its quite a mellow blend with juicy lemon and mild citrus but ultimately a little low on the old hopfen.

Bottled. Pours hazy golden in color with a small witish head. Sweet ripe garden fruityness, exotic fruits as well and orange peel in aroma. Bittersweet fruity taste.

Bottle at home, 8th December 13. Nice looking drink, fluffy white head, good lacing, aroma is citrus, taste is clean, some grapefruit pith, and a little pine and metallic notes. Not a bad IPA, especially coming from Germany, the hops could sing a little more though

Nice, deep, clear golden color (I left the thick yeast depot in the bottle). Fine, but quickly disappearing head. Full aroma in the nose, lots of fruit and a hint of honey. Rich, fruity taste, changing to a remarkable bitterness and a long finish. Good stuff.

330ml bottle from Bier-deluxe

BBE 05/2014 - Pours clear yellow with a tiny bubbly head. Aroma of earthy notes, bready malts, crisp grassy hops and hints of exotic fruits. Taste is grainy, earthy and bready with some grassy hoppiness and exotic fruity notes. Finish is bready, hoppy and grassy with some citrusy notes. Quite untypical but tasty, feels like a kellerbier with loads of crisp hoppiness.

2013-11-05, bottle from Rudat, Dortmund; bb 14.03.14, 8-4-8-4-16=40
Cloudy even after sitting in the cupboard for a month, with large and steady head. The aroma starts picking some rassy side, along with the light fruity and tropical presence, and a very light yeast pungency. I always love the lean mouthfeel of the Hopfenstopfer beers; delicate maltiness, with some cereals flavor; strong but balanced bitterness, with moderate citrusy and fruity character.
Very nice beer, easy to drink in every occasion, for an unbeatable price.

2013-10-03, bottle from Rudat, Dortmund; bb 14.03.14, 8-4-7-4-16=39
Hazy to cloudy deep blond color with a light green hue; large and persistent head. Very nice aroma, fresh and fruity; hint of spicy yeast. The body is lean, the mouthfeel is dry, strong carbonation, with a strong spicy yeast character, citrusy hop resins, and final astringency.
