500ml Bottle. Appearance is clearish, light brown color with very little beige head. Aroma is sweet and toasted malts and caramel, but relatively light. Taste is dark, toasted malts, general sweetness, caramel and some chocolate. Palate is light- to medium-bodied, light carbonation - almost flat - thin texture, and a sweet finish.

Bottle. Amber, small to average and fully diminishing head. Moderate malty and sweetish aroma, light caramel and light bread, faint hoppyness. Medium, malty and sweetish flavor, some caramel and light roasted malt with light bread, light hoppyness. Finish is average, malty and lightly sweetish, light caramel and light roasted malt, light hoppyness. Lightly sweetish dunkel with light bitterness - not bad for dunkel.

Grima (1573) - Saarburg, Rhineland-Palatinate, GERMANY - FEB 26, 2012
The beer in the glass is amber-colored, with a fine and durable head. It smells malty and roasty, very spicy and subtle chocolaty. Starts malty-sweet, slightly bready, with some caramel and chocolate. The middle part is hoppy-bitter, with a pleasant malt body and a roasted chocolate note. Goes into a hoppy bitter finish, combined with caramel and chocolate, and a little roasted malt in the background.

Koelschtrinker (7060) - Köln (Cologne), North Rhine-Westphalia, GERMANY - JAN 12, 2012

Abgang leicht bitter. Geht noch in Ordnung.Test vom 10.12.2010, Gebinde: Glasflasche

Draught at the braugasthöfen
Clean amber color, just a bit darker than the Jubiläum, but with a more generous head. Light caramel aroma, with hidden noble hops. Correct body strength; the mouthfeel is rather dry; the flavor is driven by some dry caramel; it has a correct bitterness, with some roasted malt in the final. Simple, not daring.

pivnizub (7239) - Bochum, Porúří, GERMANY - MAY 29, 2011
Bottle: Amber coloured, small stable off-white head, light caramelly-toasty nose, shy hoppy and metallic traces; light to moderate sweet-bitter flavour, light bodied, realtively soft; toasty traces with metallic undertones in the relatively dry caramelly-hoppy finish. Disappointing brew from an excellent brewer......
