Bottle. It’s a clear, dark golden beer topped by a small, off-white head. The aroma has some fruityness, as well as pale malts and a touch of something dusty. The flavor is mostly malty, with some fruityness and a pleasant little touch of bitterness. Dry and medium bodied, with a little bitterness in the end. It drinks easily, but it doesn’t impress in any way. 121110

Koelschtrinker (17278) - Köln (Cologne), GERMANY - MAR 31, 2012
Herb-fruchtiger Beginn, erfrischend, passende Malznoten.

Grima (2230) - Merzkirchen, RLP, GERMANY - FEB 26, 2012
Golden yellow color with a flat and short-lived head. It smells malty-sweet and spicy. Starts fruity and hoppy, very malty with decent spiciness. The middle part shows malty-spicy, slightly hoppy and even subtly fruity. Goes into a spicy finish (clove and cinnamon), slightly sweet and subtle hoppy in the background.

Erfrischend fruchtig-hopfig in der Nase mit süßlich-aromatischem Hintergrund. Angenehmer, hopfenaromatischer Antrunk. Mitte fruchtig mit einigen brotigen Nuancen. Abgangs malzige Statur und feinherb abebbend. Sehr nettes Bier.Test vom 10.12.2010, Gebinde: Glasflasche

0.5 l bottle, thanks Timo A! Golden to copper color with quickly vanishing head. Aromatic nutty malt aroma with hint of grass. Rich malty flavor with nuts, toasty bread and hint of cocoa. Simple flavor profile, good basic flavors. Less is more in this case.

Bottle: Clear, deep golden, visible carbonation, small loose white head; moderate bisquity nose with distinctive aromatic-hoppy edges underneath; moderate to - almost - solid sweet-bitter flavour, medium-bodied and soft; vanilla and bisquits in the - first - sweet, later hoppy-woody finish. Great, gorgeous sample of this style.......
