Bottle. Bought at the Richmond Markets. Pretty tasty stuff. Some burnt honey, shortbready sort of malty flavours. Nice earthy English hops, almost tea like. Good balance between malt and hop, well brewed.

Gravity @ The Unspeakable Battersea Festival. One of the decent condition beers. Beautiful. Light bodied yet buzzing with fresh fragrant flowery hops with a light citric buzz. Crisp, clean and refreshing. Quite dry, but just enough of a hint of malt to make it quite exciting. Mmm. Touch of sulphur and acid and yeast in the aroma.

An excellent strong bitter. Pale in colour. Very hoppy, lemony nose. Clean and fruity on the palate. Finishes dry and bitter. All in good balance. Handpump, The Speaker, London SW1, October 2003.

[Cask at Birkbeck Tarvern, London] An orange beer with a creamy head. The aroma is fruity and hoppy. The flavor is fresh, slightly sweet and lovely hoppy with notes of elderflower. It ends on a dry bitterness that lingers.

Cask Conditioned, at the Wenlock Arms, London.
Slightly cloudy, murky golden colour. Wonderful blend of malt & hops. Citrus aromas, greeted by a honey’d centre. Often on at the WA it’s unique. Also available in bottle from the Pitfield bottle shop.
