Bottle. Another ordinary pale lager. It’s drinkable and better than a few others out there, but not as good as it used to be.

On tap at the Perth Oval April 2012. Pale gold with plenty of fizz and served very cold. Light, hay aroma, leading to sweetish flavour and short, bitter finish. Poor.

Bottle 33 cL @ Singapore Airline Lounge at Melbourne Airport. Pours clear pale golden with a nice white head. Aroma is weak to medium malty, sweetish, fruity, straw and spicy. Flavor is OK, a bit sweet and fruity with some bitterness. Finishes bitter hoppy.

Bottle - Pour pale yellow with a thin white head. Grassy hops with some cardboard aroma. Dry up front but it fades quickly and the finish is quite mild.

Taste pretty much exactly like the light version but less pissy and more lagery. Enough said

Cletus (6354) - Connecticut, USA - AUG 10, 2011
Pours gold with a sustained white head. Smells skunky initially with some perfumy, floral hints, apples and touches of pepper. Tastes of dry malt, peppery, metallic, some bitter hints, some grassy, floral notes on the finish. Dry compared to what I’m used to in this style.

Pretty average pilsener-like pale lager. Nothing really wrong with it although it’s a bit watery. But decent.

(Green bottle) This sux ; I read on AustralianBeers.com that this has recieved awards over the years for its quality : . Its a soulless lager without any redeeming bitterness . This is considered good beer down there ?

Warning! Early amateur rating! Bottle in Raratonga. Refreshing lager. Slightly tart with sharpish citric finish.
