Nice drop indeed. good finish. very good flavour with the Saaz hops. Extremely impressive for a low Carbohydrate Beer

I think the haters need to chill the fuck out a bit, it’s not that bad! I find it to have a clean, dry and sweet taste to it that has much more character then most of its low-carb counterparts despite its nothing special look and aroma (Pure Blond I’m looking at you!), and besides its good for your figure...

very popular beer at the moment. Pretty good aroma and appearance. Nice dry finish with over all nice amount of flavour.

Fairly good, clear golden coloured body with an average white head. Saaz hops on the nose. Fairly bland taste, bit like a pilsener dumbed down a bit, easy to drink cos there is not a great deal to it.

Not nearly as bad as I expected to be honest. Tis very, very dry and on a warm evening it went down OK. perhaps a little too bitter and metallic for my taste. Not a worldbeater by any means (Hahn beers are ordinary IMO), but could quite easily knock a few of these back at another time. Only way to drink these are ice cold straight from the bottle though. Wouldn’t even bother trying to pour into a glass.

A pub that I go to often for live music purposes has this appaling selection of tap beers: Tooheys New, Tooheys Extra Dry, Heineken, Southwark Pale and Hahn Super Dry. Heineken is overpriced and usuallythe tap is dodgy, so I always end up drinking the Super Dry at $3.50 a pint. Lacks flavour, but it’s weak rather then watery. Tailor made to get you drunk, so if that’s what your seeking go for it, otherwise shell out a bit more for something better. Nothing remotely offensive about it, but nothing impressive either. Meh.

Sparkling yellow colour with absolutely no head at all. Taste was average- light bitterness with a moderate sweetness. Medium dry body.

So Toohey’s starts it all with "Extra Dry", then Hahn (not to be outdone) comes along with this "SuperDry" stuff, and now Toohey’s has come back with "Extra Dry PLATINUM" no less. All in the name of delivering as little flavour as possible in the beer! The whole idea is ridiculous. Well, they’ve succeeded here.

Paler pee yellow than Tooheys Extra Dry. Rocky, thick but short-lived head. Lacing lasted halfway the glass. Faint (very very faint) Saaz hop aroma. No malt aroma. Faint Saaz flavour, trace of citrus. Very dry. Very thin. Hint of malt. High carbonation. Another beer flavoured water, slightly more beery than TED, with detectable amounts of malt and hops. Perfect for those who like beer flavoured mineral water.

Hey this is not that bad! Very quaffable and yes dry in the Asahi definition of dry. Some dumb industrial sweetness is not offensive and to be honest I can see the appeal of this beer. It would be easy to suck down plenty of this (I imagine). Plus I’m not getting fat.
