Sampled at the ’09 Great Alaska Beer and Barley Wine Festival. Hazy brown color with a thin yellowish/beige head. Lightly roasted grains in the nose. Thinnish brown ale with some water, tea and burnt white toast. The finish has a long burnt grain astringency.
