3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle, Winter 2014. Not bad but not totally feeling it. Dead and hazy in the glass. Heavy caramel malt presence. Hops are there but buried under sweetness. Well made but not my thing. At $10/bomber glad I only picked up one.

Smells like the apple Jolly Rancher. Looks like my opaque yet pissy homebrew. Woah itís very thick! Tastes like resiny peppermint.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
On draught at hair of the dog - pours a cloudy bluish grey with no head. Nose of hop and malt. Taste is of a sweeter hop then I'm used to. Very nice double ipa.

4.4 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
Bottle, and thanks Paul. Pours cloudy golden with white head, lots of hop leaves floating around as well, never seen anything like it. We filtered some of the beer through a strainer and thereís a shit tonne of hops in the bottle. Aroma is incredible, grapefruit and orange with some pine. Similar taste but slightly more resinous, a little earthyness as well. Very bitter throughout. Amazing.

3.8 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Batch: Summer 2011
A: pours a hazy, dusky apricot colored ale with no head, no evidence of carbonation. No lacing.
S: Juicy, like cotton candy and juicy fruit gum. Iím not certain I need to add more to this; that is an awesome smell. Feminine and sweet.
T: Sweet, citrus, bubble gum, peaches, alcohol. The bitterness is really sharp, and frankly, just a hint too high IMO. Finish is a citric resonance (oranges) with some resiny hops.
M: Medium body with low to moderate carb. Semi-dry finish.
O: Good IIPA, wish the bitterness was toned just a hare to better balance out the beer. The appearance has much to desire, but otherwise, most categories hit the mark quite well.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
22 oz bottle courtesy of Chris, served in a stem glass. Pours coudy caramel-amber with a small tan head that fades to a thin cover and leaves a trace of lace. On the nose there are notes of grass, citrus, caramel and pine. The flavour is balanced between caramel malts and grassy notes on the one hand and piney, floral hops on the other. The finish is long and peppery, citric hops. On the palate, it is medium in body with a dryish texture. Overall, a nice IPA with a complex palate. 2013-11-07

3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
22 bomber, poured a hazy amber with some off white head. Faint aroma of citrus. Pretty mild taste that had some floral and citrus tones. Bitterness was pretty mild as well. Body felt a bit light for an Imperial, alcohol also felt a bit light for an Imperial.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
On tap @ HotD. Pours cloudy amber orange with very thin head. Aroma is pale malt and big resinous hops. Taste is light pale malt that is quickly dominated by sizable hops: notes of floral pine and grapefruit. More on the fresh hop DIPA scale rather than the syrupy heavy ones. Quite nice for what it is. Somewhat hard to find fresh, you gotta grab it when you see it.
