It pours a golden orange color in the glass with a nice head. The aroma has a big citrus wallop like grapefruit and some pine. Taste is more citrus with lemon and grapefruit. There is a big bitter hop bite with some mild malts. Also some fresh grass. As it warmed it became even better.

Nice citrusy aroma. Cloudy golden colored appearance. (I poured all the sediment from the bottle) before I read the label that said to pour slowly to allow the sediment to remain in the bottle. Taste is grapefruit and pine with some funky horse blanket / barnyard stuff going on. It grew on me.

Cloudy straw. Surprised this is so high alcohol, it’s hidden. It’s smooth. Not bitter at all for a double ipa.

Bottle from nate321, thanks a lot! Pours a murky dark golden with a low head that still offer some lacing. Nose is of intense piny notes, some light fruits and a lot of ethanol. Taste is fruity and citrusy, offering some nice grapefruits and pine. Bitterness level is medium-high and the malt backbone almost completely hidden except for some light grainy flavors. Body is medium, mouthfeel slick, carbonation moderate. Finish is bitter and lingers for some time. A good beer.

Had this a few years back when I was just getting into craft beer. Nice to have it again - thanks Prufrockstar! Hazy amber pour with a nice white head on this. Citrus forward nose. Big malt backbone in the taste with a whallop of pine and citrus hops. Very nice.

bottle shared by mathieuc, many thanks dawg. pours dirty if not muddy golden orange with a small off-white cap, some retention and lacing. doughy and grainy spicy malts, pepper, grapefruit candies, dankness, weed, mint, resin. moderate carbonation, medium body - oily and a bit sticky, moderate sweetness - a tad sweet for a double ipa at 7% but an assertive hoppiness provides a drying grassy-spicy-piney-citrusy finish. much enjoyed that malt bill - very atypical for a dipa though. very good brew, still!

On tap at the brewery. Pours a darkish amber with light head. Aromas of light pine and citrus. Flavours are similar but with a grassy bitter finish. Nice.

bottle via box. Nose is a tropical fruit explosion. holy cow. lime, kiwi, sugar, mango. literally smells like a gummi bear truck dumped all the bears and worms into the fermenter. a very cloudy, almost murky dark orange to almost red. taste is initially bland, but then all those fruity and gummi flavors come through. wow, this is great. no noticeable booze. the hop bitterness seems a little low, and based on the stats, this may be more of an IPA than DIPA, but it could be the storage/age of the beer too. very solid, very drinkable. would repeat.

Bottle. The look is very cloudy, thin white head, and is peach in color. The smell is caramel, fruits, mango, tropical, pine, and nice. The taste is malty, hops, ok bitterness, pine, and fruit.
