Bottle delivers a murky gold hue with a fairly quickly receding white head. Nose finds a piney citrus and sweet maltyness, hints of brown sugar and spice. The Mouth finds flavors of biter maltyness, spicy hops with a hint of piney notes. The Finish; I find the balance very palatable, more flavors come out as the beer warms. Very nice beer, it’s what I would expect from Hair of the Dog!

@ Hair of the dog 16-3-9: lätt fruktig doft med en tydlig smak av mogen frukt (mango). Kanske något rå eftersmak.

Draft at Imazato. Blue Dot pours a milky honey orange gold with a thick piney hop aroma. The flavor is bitter but doesn’t reveal the high ABV and features well balanced citrus and pine. Solid stuff.

Taster pour on tap at the brewery pub (Portnald, OR). Pours a hazy golden orange hue, a healthy haziness through the body doesn’t deter a lively peachy apricot glow in the body. Frothy creamy offwhite head atop is sizable, firm and laces well. A thicker ring atop is large, a mellow layer supports. Aromas are big and bitter, good firm florals and bitter pine, pithy bitter grapefruit rind and oils. A gentle bready affair beneath, a biting potent bitter citric appeal strikes from a fresh and enjoyable hop profile. Fresh, bitter, and floral/pine melange support the project with a subtle melon waft at times as we settle in. Initial is medium bodied, a touch lighter as a spritzy potent bitter hop profile bites off the bat. Some richer grapefruit and lemon meet subtle sweetness, a firm potent sweep of bitter florals, earth and pine press into the backend. Jabs of lemon, bitter rind and citrus juice coat the palate in waves. Fresh, lively, just enough body without interfering. Never sweet as this one runs that gabit between fruity bitter citrus and a firmer floral and piney backend and finish. Lovely fresh stuff. A nose that doesn’t quit, a pretty pour through some firmer haziness and a good flow and richer hop profile that is fresh and potent. Well done.

Pours a murky golden hue with a thin head. Very light in the aromatics, but the taste though, it is "very hoppy, and not overly bitter" Watch me whip, watch me nae nae
