Arayaga2 (932), Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA Dec 18, 2006 Batch 63. Deep cidery brow color with chunky sediment and creamy tan head. Lovely floral and citrus aroma. Nice balance of hopiness and sweet with fairly thick mouthfeel. Alcohol is apparent but not overbearing. $3.50/12oz nimbleprop (819), SouthWest, Washington, Washington DC, USA Dec 15, 2006 Poured a murky copper with a creamy, lacing slightly off white head. Strong aroma of malts and pine. Sweet flavor, honey and candy, but also malty with brown sugar. Finish had heat, thick and syrupy but also a touch of maple. Good dessert beer. bager (2121), Copenhagen N, Denmark Dec 12, 2006 Bottled. Amber coloured with a medium sized head. A bit sweet with notes of citrus, caramel and alcohol. Hints of dark fruits. Skinnyviking (4142), Copenhagen, Denmark Dec 9, 2006 Bottle. Fluffy white lasting head. Hary orange body. Peach hops aroma. Alcohol is very dominant. Tried hidden by high hops bitterness plus carbonation. In vain in my opionion. I definately do not like the taste of alcohol. Sorry mates. cewldre (268), Cincinnati, Ohio, USA Dec 6, 2006 bottle from santa: Pours a nice amber color, almost brown. A nice white head formed. Smell has a slight citrus smell, with some caramel smell in there as well. Taste is smooth, with some nuttiness to it and a lingering sweetness to it. There is a nice warmth to this one, not overpowering at all. I like this beer. MrBendo (1039), Swedesboro, New Jersey, USA Dec 5, 2006 Updated: Apr 28, 2007Bottle, batch 59. Hazy amber/orange with huge head. Leaves medium lacing as it slowly dissipates. Wonderful aroma of caramel, cotton candy and floral hops. Tastes of carmel, butterscotch, dark fruits and a little hops. A little alcohol warmth. Wonderfully complex to try to describe. And to think I was worried about not aging this. Medium to full body, moderate carbonation. So good. So very good. JohnnyJ (1282), Carlsbad, California, USA Dec 2, 2006 Pour is deep reddish gold with soft off-white head. Aroma if hoppy with fruit, pine, spice, and caramel. Nice flavor if caramel, sweet malt, dark fruit, toffee, vanilla, and hops. Smooth and creamy mouthfeel. Damn good. tjthresh (1746), Greenfield, Indiana, USA Nov 24, 2006 12 ounce bottle. Batch 60. Murky tawny orange with a creamy beige head. A total minajory of pine, spice and resin. Nicely blended flavors. The betterness is mild, yet it demands attention. Creamy palate. Long finish. Good stuff.
