Tap at brewery. Orange, slightly thick and foamy head. RIch garden aroma; unlike most of the others I actually did get some squash and zucchini here. Very interesting and surprisingly nicely bitter for something with no hops! Crisp, mellow, ingenious, and creative. Nicely done.

Pours and looks like a macro lager/pilsener. I didn’t get much aroma of squash. It’s tangy, highly carbonated & quite drinkable.

A gruet sampled at RBSG at the brewery. Aromas of ripe summer squash and light malts. Very mild and drinkable. Nicely balanced. Worth trying.

Had on tap at Higgins in Portland after several other beers that night. Orangey color, unique aroma. The squash is definitely present, but not overpoweringly weird. A unique, interesting beer, definitely worth trying.

On tap at the Hair of the Dog brewery. For an organic brew this was quite amazing. The squash flavor, which seemed a repulsive idea to me at first, was very pleasing and subtle. Aroma had a nice spice to it which slightly carried through on the taste, making an almost belgian feel to it.

On tap at Redbones. Pours a yellow/ orange hazy color. A bit of yeast in the aroma, malt and spice. I detected some kind of vegetable flavor but wouldn't have guessed squash. This has a Belgian feel, sweet almost like a tripel. Drinkable and good but not all that interesting.

Contains squash, but tastes more like a barley wine. I was amazed at the complexity for such a small beer. Deep golden brown color, honey floral nose. The malt is quite sour, but the finish is well hopped and honey accented.

Tap @ Toronado. Dark golden color with a minimal head. The aroma included a light apple spice, clove, and cinammon character. Medium bodied, slightly sweet, and a spicy flavor.

A copper color with a hop aroma and some fruitiness. The palate is smooth and nice with some flavor of hop and fruits.
