3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 Oakes (10196) - Gibsons, British Columbia, CANADA - AUG 5, 2006
Bright amber colour. A bit strange - not distinctively gourdy, but at least a clean, crisp, moderately malty amber ale with toasty/caramelly accent. Hrm.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 argo0 (9227) - Washington DC, USA - MAY 23, 2002
UPDATED: MAY 14, 2003 (2003): Sweet herbal aroma, with some candy sugar/bubblegum. Taste is sweet, light Tripelesque, herbal and mint. Different squash from last year, with a better taste.
(2002): Cloudy golden in appearance, with a mild fruity aroma. I'd never guess the squash without being told -- the flavor is very fruity and mild, with hint of alcohol. No noticeable bitterness. (6/3/6/3/12)

Poured a medium orange color with a very small sized heat. Aromas of yeast, earthy, citrus, spices, and squash. Tastes of spices, squash, and caramel. There was definitely squash in there that made this one different and interesting.
3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 Lubiere (7001) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - OCT 4, 2010
A lightly hazed amber orange ale with a thin white head. In aroma, pleasant fruity malt with caramel and some nice madera tones. In mouth, a good caramel and fruity malt, a bit maderized, very smooth, no hops, as promised, but good. On tap at Hair of the Dog, Sept. 4, 2010.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20 Rastacouere (5923) - Montréal, Quebec, CANADA - MAR 16, 2010
Draft @ HOTD. A squash 5% beer with pils malt and no hops? Can you anticipate the train wreck? You should not because it impressively turns out awesome. A full-bodied amber cloud covered by a generous, tight off-white foam. Squash flavours are exquisitely extracted, making this a stunning broth with a soft spicy, vegetal, earthy character. Drinkability is unexpectedly there as well thanks to its again judiciously extracted pale malt base. Malty, firm palate. No bitterness, but still balanced, due to proper fermentation and the well established limits to crystal malts.
3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20 BückDich (5467) - McCall, Idaho, USA - JUL 29, 2004
Tap @ Rose & Raindrop for RBSG 04 Hazy gold color, creamy head, light lacing. Aroma is lightly hoppy with potato notes & almost rusty spices present. The flavor is well balanced, a full body not derived from malt or alcohol with spicy hops, very tasty & drinkable.
