3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Sample at the brewpub. The beer pours a dark brown color with a medium light beige head that dissipates steadily to an outer ring. Rings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of smoky malt and hops. Light body with a subtle smoke character and notes of grassy hops and wood. The finish is mildly bitter with a charred malt aftertaste. Decent overall.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
Draft at the brewpub. Pours a reddish brown color with a thin white head and some lacing. Aroma is light, bready, malty. Medium on the palate with average carbonation. Flavor is sweet, malty, bready, very little bitterness, and definitely no smokiness, caramel, with a light malty finish. Very nice at 3.5%.

3.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Tap @ Hair of the Dog... Poured very similar to LIttle Dog Adam a reddish amber/brown with an off-white head. Smooth and easy drinking with a soft palate and modest carbonation. Very malt forward with touch of bread-like sweetness and earthy, yet mellow, hop balance.
