3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
On tap at the brewpub - Pours hazy orange with a white head. The aroma has some breadiness, caramel and English earthy yeastiness. It has a medium / light body with some semi-sharp carbonation. The flavor starts off with bread, crackers, spice and caramel. the finish is dry, but pretty full flavored for a 3.2% mild ale. Excellent for the style.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
murky gold, puffy white head drops to spotty top, thicker collar. Melon, pear, red delicious nose, bit of caramel. Flavor reminds of de dolle, musty red apple and sugar early, honey and citrus mid before light toast in the moderate body, slick and oily. Have had Little Dog before and that one blew me away. This is incredibly flavorful for 3.2% but doesn’t fully mesh.
