Keg at BBF 7, Bodegraven, 25/09/15. Murky orange amber with floaties. Nose is soft peach, bourbon, spice, wood, sharp booze intake. Taste comprises bitter peach, mellow fleshy fruit, barrel well evident, spice, light malt. Full bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Ok if a touch hot and a little unbalanced.

Borefts VII. Day 1. Murky amber beer with a few floaty bits, no head. This was an early pour. Palate is light and semi dry, mild fine carbonation. Little spicy bourbon. Emulsion paint. Modest peach. Spicy bourbon finish. Interesting but a bit messy.

Sampled @ Borefts 2015. Clear rusty orange golden color, virtually no head. Smell and taste remind me of a strong liquor, especially the aroma. I canít really taste the peach though. Iím not sure what to think of this. Wouldnít drink a bottle of it thatís for sure. Letís go for interesting.

McNeillR (1897) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - OCT 2, 2015
Hazy murky golden, greasy looking with bit of lacing and no head. Nose you scarf from the other end of the table, rich boozy coconut. Initial taste is rich but smooth coconut oil, peppery fruit and very soft on the bourbon itself. Extreme lack of carbonation but a liquour like mouthfeel. Finishes strongly, keen booze and vibrant pineapple and papaya. Linger is dense, boozy but was well telegraphed. Solid.

Sampled at Borefts, pours an orange color with no head. Aroma is caramel, booze, toffee, and malt. Flavor is most of the same with some bourbon, barrel heat, and sweet apricot. This was one was a little more tolerable than some of the other offerings HOD brought but still to sweet/hot to enjoy more than an ounce or two.
