Ungstrup (11378), Frederiksberg, Denmark Mar 11, 2004 [Batch 27, sampled March 2004] An unclear orange beer with a small disappearing head. The aroma is sweet with notes of yeast and cloves - and so is the flavor. An OK beer. omhper (10728), Stockholm, Sweden Jun 5, 2003 Bottled. Cloudy amber with rich creamy head. Floery aroma with a hint of almond. Sweet and malty with some banana in the finish. Papsoe (10367), Frederiksberg, Denmark Aug 1, 2005 (Bottle 35,5 cl) Orangey golden and hazy with a fine and bubbly head. Pronounced yeasty nose. Flavours also of yeast and malt with a short, dry bitterness. Pronounced alcohol feel. OK, if not exactly a great Tripel. 240705 Oakes (6979), Miami Beach, Florida, USA May 31, 2002 Downgraded following a recent re-sample, this lacked the smooth floweriness I used to find - still decent but no more a classic. yespr (6889), Copenhagen O, Denmark Jul 1, 2007 RBSG07. From 3 L bottle (Golden Rose). Pours brown with no head. Aroma is dry raisins, strong. Flavour is strongly dominated by dried fruit. Heavy roasted malt profile adding into a slightly too heavy palate, a little less would have been better but well brewed.
