12 oz bottle. Pours hazy gold orange with a fluffy white head. Aroma is sharp critic, mostly lemon, a touch herbal and a note of sour apple, a light candy sweetness and some grain. Flavor starts more sweet citric, some orange that quickly turns more to lemon and crisp apple with some light bread grain and ends surprisingly smooth and sweet. Medium body and a crisp carnonation. Interesting apa.

Reviewed from notes (2009). A: Nice light amber body. Cloudy and hazy. Huge off-white head. Good retention and nice sudsy lacing. S: Soft citric and floral hops. Light, semi-sweet malt body. T: Clean, refreshing citric and floral hop bitterness. Again the semi-sweet malt body shines through nicely. M: Light bodied. Good carbonation. A bit soft on the finish. O: Very nice. Refreshing. Good on a friday night with 80 degree weather.

Bottle. Nice American Pale Ale. Various citrus flavors with sweet malt in the background for balance. Dry finish with light bitterness. Tasty.

Light amber copper. Light floral and citrus hop aroma with a bit of toasted malt. Flavor is quite similar. A but on the sweet side but that us balanced nicely with the bitterness. Finish is long and bitter. Very enjoyable.

12oz bottle - Herring Creek beer tasting

This one is clearly made to be consumed in great amounts. It’s quite light, loaded with flavor and...hey, it’s made by HotD! Love these guys! Aroma is fruity, angling towards the citrus fruit but not quite...a little orange juice, crackers, some light pine needles there too. Flavor is just a smidge of hops, heavy showing up malts with honey and apple juice being predominate. Finishes a little grassy. Very nice.

Awesome pale as the citrus and peppery amarillos shine with an aroma that has underpinnings of sweet fruit which carries itself to the flavor. Nice malty backdrop which goes well with ribs. Some dryness in the palatte which gives it a nice texture. Otherwise an easy to drink and very flavorful beer which gets a low rating from the ratebeer snobs because its not an imperial stout, triple collaboration brew or quadruple ipa. What happened to quality versus hype?

Very refreshing beer. Hazy yellow color in the glass with a large head. Aroma of pine with a little lemon. Taste is smooth with some mild hop taste. It also has earthy notes and citrus. Good finish.

12 oz into shaker.Pour hazy golden. Decent smell of citrus pith and light flowery hops. A little spicy and little yeasty. Good example of the style, nice carb on it. Solid meal beer.
