Bottle. Hazy golden pour with a thin lacing head. Grassy aroma with a light hint of hops. Light citrus flavor with a hint of hops. Different type of pale ale. Some malt in there as well.

hazy and settled golden. typical pale ale aroma and little sweetness in the after taste. I heard so much about the brewery but think I got the wrong brew from here. sorry for poor scoring but just not impressed for a pale ale. where is the malts and hops?

hazy, unfiltered. huge rocky head. very wild on the yeast in a great way. big belgian yeast-spice on the nose and in the flavor. amazing pale-ale aroma, good slightly sweet malt backbone. some slight funk, like there was a saison yeast used in this beer. almost a cidery quality to it. dry finish. absolutely beautiful.

Below average Pale Ale. This is the only HotD brew that I have not liked. I think HotD is really good at making big flavorful beers, there shot at an everyday APA not so good. HotD stick with what your great at, and leave the APA’s to those who can’t make big beers!

In short: A biscuity and fruity pale ale that is sharp and refreshing despite being very yeasty. Good
How: Bottle 12oz. Consumed fresh two weeks after purchase
The look: Ugly opaque muddy amber body topped by a very small off-white head
In long: Nose of orange cookies and yeast, quite unusual for an APA. Taste has a lot of cookies, a bit of dough, tangerines, some straws, dried apricots, light notes of bitter grapefruits. From the ugly muddy look and the yeasty aroma notes I expected a muddy beer but it actually felt rather crisp and refreshing. This is a rather ordinary beer from HOTD, one of the most revered American brewery. Oh well, some days you are the rockstar, and some days you are the dude with a nametag and three pens in your front shirt pocket.

(12oz bottle) very fizzy/frothy head, very cloudy amber. Nose of spruce, plastic, bit of citrus, a bit vinous, some grape skin, medicinal and blueberries. Taste is exceptionally bitter, pine, citrus peel oils, grapeskin. Very unique, and I like how it lingered on the palate.

Bottle. Cloudy golden orange appearance with a white head. Slightly grainy, toasty hopfen malty, lightly floral hoppy nose. Floral, slightly soapy, a bit citrusy hoppy, toasty blonde malty flavor. Pretty tasty session beer.

Bottle thanks to Aaron. Slightly hazy yellow orange pour with white head, aroma has notes of pine, some biscuit, slight belgian yeast, touch of sweet bready, slightly fruity notes. Very interesting. Taste is some nice biscuit, real dry yeast and slight fruity notes, finishing really dry and bitter. Pretty good, interesting tastes!

Clear to pale golden pour lots of frothy rocky off white head lots of lacing a little overcarbonated .... aroma of floral and fruity hops .... taste is of floral and fruity hops, a little oily and citrusy with fruity yeast and pilsner crystal malts .... has a nice little hop bite to it that goes into a dry malty finish ... overall not bad but nothing to write home about

Bottle. Thanks justin. Nice, light aroma of fruit chew candy. Light citrus shows up. Maybe some lemon. Slightly hazy, yellow/orange in color, and a small white head. Light, malty, and slightly bitter. Definitely get more citrus in the taste. More candied fruit chews, some orange, grassy. Nice lighter body. Delicious.
