2.5 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 harrisoni (11023) - Ashford, Kent, - NOV 6, 2006Bottle from Fred Meyer, Portland. Hazy gold colour with lasting white head. Odd musty aroma, bit of plastic, some nice fruit. Bit muddled and aroma has a bit of vomit, fruit and plastic. Overly carbonated, reasonable fruit. Maybe infected. Nice hop finish.
3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20 popery (1133) - San Francisco, California, USA - JUN 2, 2013
Pours a yellowish orange. Quite cloudy. There seems to be a nice layer of sediment at the bottom of the bottle. Medium head, white. Good lacing. Pretty good retention, as well. The aroma is gentle and pleasant. Floral notes with some grapes and peaches. It smells of honeysuckle and light, sweet fruit. Pale malt. Sugary. The taste is moderately dry. It starts with pale malt sweetness and a good amount of that fruity, floral hop flavor. Considering that the aroma is relatively weak, there’s a surprising amount of hop flavor in the beer. Things dry out significantly in the finish. Bitterness is light. Mouthfeel is a bit fuller than expected. There’s some body to the pale malt and lush hoppiness. Good beer. I’d like more aroma, but it has a very nice flavor. Easy to drink.
3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20 AZBennett (112) - Chandler, Arizona, USA - MAY 13, 2013
Bottle courtesy of Porcelainbomb (reddit trader). Pours a hazy golden color with sporadic head that fades quickly leaving minimal lacing. Aroma is lemon zest, big sweet malts and bread, and finally some sharp grass. Flavor is an even mix of sweet malt and lemon bitterness followed by a big dose of bitter hops that diminishes into a clean aftertaste. Palate is quite heavy for this style as the beer actually sits and weighs on the tongue and with the minimal carbonation this feeling increases. Overall, this is a strange pale almost like a Pilsner/Pale hybrid based on the flavors that come through with the strong Pils bready malts mixing so much; also the bitterness is almost off-putting as it doesn’t do well with the sweetness and almost turns an off sour. I would like to try one fresh to compare but it’s barely above average for me.

Pours a light cloudy yellow. Smells slightly bready. Light sour hint in the flavor but overall very mild in flavor over all. Not my favorite beer. But also not bad.
