sunevdj (1340), Copenhagen, Denmark May 5, 2008 Pours a slightly hazy yellow with a white head. Bitter with malty aromas of straw and quite strong hoppy aromas of grass. Medium bodied with a slightly creamy mouthfeel. Soft carbonation. Bitter finish.
SQNfan (369), Wheaton, Illinois, USA Jul 7, 2008 This was a wonderfully fresh and crisp beer with lots of citrus and some spiciness that went great with a 4th of July BBQ. ajm (248), USA Jul 6, 2008 Bottle from the best-stocked 7-11 in town (52nd and Figueroa). I was pretty shocked, as this tasted almost perfectly like Bud Light. And that’s not my thing. Nik925 (44), California, USA Jul 5, 2008 crisp, good hopslap clean malt 5.6% tastes like more than that than it should. clean but complex not a normal ale yeast in this thing. A big divergence from normalcy, but have to question what he is going for. This could be a fake American Belgian from a lesser brewer. Something isn’t right, this is like coors for beer snobs, happy to drink it, but wish it was something slightly more. Sidenote, this is what I expected Pranqster from north coast to be (but that was terrible). masonjer (388), Lansing, Michigan, USA Jul 3, 2008 Thanks to brewdad for giving me a chance to try this. On my quest to try all things HOTD. Poured a hazy gold color. Some tangerine and sweet wheat in the nose. Taste was more of the sweet wheat and the same hint of tangerine, goes down nice and smooth. I don’t even think it has wheat in it, but that’s just what came out. Great summer beer, nice and refreshing. BeerBunker (4), Burbank, Illinois, USA does not count Jul 2, 2008 Has a deep orange/brown color, and smells like it should have more alcohol content than it does. Very drinkable, without being overly good. Perfect, easy beer for a hot summer day.
