12 oz bottle picked up in a small grocery in downtown Philly. Very light yellow pour with a smallish white head. Light floral hops aroma. An almost Belgian spiciness that I didnít expect at all comes through. Lemony, a little barnyard funk as well. Good, but not a traditional APA by any means.

On tap at the brewery. A: Cloudy orange color with a foamy white head. N: Biscuit, pine, oranges, some grapefruit. Toast. Not as complex as I would like. T: Sweet and lightly bitter. M: Light body, creamy carbonation, and light alcohol presence. O: A sweet throwback APA. Hard to rate this when every APA is an IPA in disguise, but itís easy enough to drink.

Solid pale ale, nice hop balance. Way better than the other beers on tap at hair of dog brewery

Picked up a bottle without noticing the date. Ended up being a year old. Pours a clear golden yellow with a full white head. Floral aroma with slight oxidation. Taste is slightly bitter and the "old hops" taste isnít really there. Pretty good actually. Not the same beer but great base.

Tap at Hair of the Dog. Pours hazy yellow with white head. Aroma is wheat, lemon, lager, lots of citrus. Taste is bitter, light, medium carbonation. Overall, good.

Hazy golden yellow, head leaves a thick lacing coat. Nose of pine, dankness. Taste has enough malt before a nice wave of bitterness that lingers well after finish. Slightly syrupy mouth. Cool beans dorks.

Old bottle bought a case for $12... Went íoffí... more like funky. Hazy gold visible carbonation and thin white head. Noses must be in horse blanket. Flavor of a Belgian sour, funked out saison or gueuze. Tart and now a bit oxidized. Not a pale ale by a long shot but for $12 for a case, I got a decent american Belgian sour.

On tap, poured into a sampler glass. Banana and citrus aromas come through in strength with some pine and grass notes. It pours a hazy yellow with a white, thin ring and a light, wispy surface. A light amount of head is retained and a very light lace remains on the glass. The tastr is a medium sweet medium and fairly high bitter. Itís oily and slick with a light fizz and medium body. It starts sweet and citrus with a finish thatís spicy and dry. Itís clean and crisp with a spice lingering.

UPDATED: OCT 12, 2014 Finally! Its been almost a decade and I finally got to try a fresh, sampler at brewery. Well, eh fine but dull. Its hoppy, just bitter with a vague golden beer background. Very bitter at the end.

Big Bottle. Pours a golden color with one finger head. Aroma of crisp citrus and mild lemons, and light fruits Taste is light fruits with slight lemon peel citrus and grapefruit. Average carbonation. Quite refreshing. Not overly hoppy like some pale ales, but finished with a smooth bitter finish. Enjoyed.

Purchased as a taster at the breweries pub. Light amber color with minimal head. Fairly sweet aroma, but slightly lacking in taste. I think I should have tried this before the Adam and Matt.
